AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence
« Solaire, frais, généreux. »
Terroir
Terminus. You are in Provence — a collaboration between two houses: Gaudina × Chape. Around Lançon-de-Provence, between the Alpilles and the Étang de Berre, the vines grow in a classic Mediterranean landscape: stony soils, intense sunlight and steady winds that keep the grapes healthy throughout the summer. The estate is run under organic polyculture: the vines coexist with olive trees, cereals and other Mediterranean crops — the domaine even produces one of the region's finest olive oils. An ancient, coherent farming model where each crop contributes to the balance of the whole.
Grapes
Grenache & Counoise
Viticulture
The vineyard is organically farmed, with careful soil work and a constant search for natural balance. Grenache brings warmth and the sun-drenched expression of Provence rosé; Counoise, more discreet, plays a key role by adding freshness, finesse and energy, avoiding any heaviness. Harvest takes place relatively early to preserve natural acidity and keep a precise, drinkable profile.
Winemaking
The grapes are directly pressed, following the traditional Provence rosé method. The juices are clarified then fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve aromatic purity. The wine is aged for a few months on fine lees in stainless steel to bring volume and texture while maintaining freshness and precision. Minimal intervention — just what the wine needs.
Tasting
Pale and luminous colour. The palate is fresh, clean and generous, driven by precise fruit and a slightly saline finish, with delicate red fruit, Mediterranean herbs and garrigue notes. A sunny, fresh and generous wine, made for sharing. Here, Terminus is not the end — it's where you discover the best of Provence.
